When Golden Flora and Darwin Figueroa met at the Strange Bass music collective in Miami, Oro Fresco was born. They teamed up because they both have a desire for bringing diversity to Latin music and wanted to challenge reggaeton's hegemony. One has a musical background from Colombia and the other from Venezuela; these influences blend together beautifully, giving their music depth and cultural complexity.

Miami New Times hailed them as "Miami's Best Latin Act 2023" praising their alternative Latin sound with unpredictable rhythms, comedic lyrics, and a dancefloor-friendly beat. With their genre-defying music, Oro Fresco creates a world where they and their fans may connect over a common love of music.

Symbols and Sound:

Oro Fresco draws inspiration from Otto von Schirach, a boundary-pushing Miami electronic music master, and infuses their music with experimental flair and bilingual lyrical delicacy. Their fascinating songs bridge the gap between cultural savvy and intuitive musicianship, capturing the essence of Miami's vibrant musical scene.
